I have worked at the Playcentre for 4 years and this is my first role within a child care setting. I have worked in admin in a variety of roles since I left school.  I love working at the Playcentre and getting to know the children in our care.  I enjoy being the “fun auntie” when I go into the room throughout the day and interact with the children as I never take things too seriously.

I had a great imagination as a child and used to pretend my grandparents house on the Isle of Wight was a hotel.  I designed a brochure and gift booklet which I still have in my possession 30 years later.  My own children find it hilarious to look at it now and see the inner workings of my 10 year old brain!!!
